The Door Opens ~ to Confuse to Clarity (no. 1)

Reflections from Solitude and Silence No. 7

Jun 1, 2018

Saying For Today: We come to clarity, spiritually, not through the mind, but within and through the one Heart, so the mind must be confused and disabled, then a door opens.

This is the seventh of the series of reflections arising from a month in silence and solitude; the musings invite the reader to explore the Truth for himself or herself. May the writer's reflections be windows to look in, or out, onto the vista of our one Beloved, our deepest, truest Self. Peace! Brian

One evening, in the Solitude, short poems began flowing out, one after another. Today, here are some of them, followed by a short sentence arising days prior. These poems, some would say, mystical, some would observe paradox. My poetry is usually paradoxical, often more like a koan, offering reflection, a door that may open to clarity, so the confusion inhering in the poem is intended to be confusing. We come to clarity, spiritually, not through the mind, but within and through the one Heart, so the mind must be confused and disabled, then a door opens. You see what you did not anticipate seeing, could not think yourself into seeing ~ thankfully! And, remember, the message you may think one of these poems shares, well, some shallow wells may be bottomless, when you really give time to see. Thank You!

I am to revel in the unknowability.
